Clyde/GM WRD Class
The WRDs are four old QR 2250s. The 2250s were rebuilt at Redbank in 2004 from older Clydes, with new cabs, Dash 2 electronics and turbocharged EMD 645s, and twenty of them were sold to Transnet in South Africa in 2014. Watco bought 2251, 2252, 2257 and 2266 and brought them home, and they became the WRD class in 2023.
