UGL/GE GWU Class
The GWU class are C44acis that started out with Genesee & Wyoming Australia, which took delivery of GWU001 to GWU011 in 2012 and 2020 for Hunter Valley coal. One Rail Australia, as the company had become, added GWU012 to GWU015 in 2021. When Aurizon bought One Rail in 2022 those last four stayed with Aurizon as part of its standard gauge fleet, while GWU001 to GWU011 went with the coal business to Magnetic Rail Group.
