EDI/EMD GWN Class
The GWNs are five GT42CU ACes built at Maryborough for Genesee & Wyoming Australia (later One Rail), the same design as Aurizon's 4100 and ACN classes and PN's 83s. They were ordered in July 2012 and started in 2013 on iron ore trains to the Whyalla steelworks in South Australia.
When five old QR 2250s came back from South Africa to take over at Whyalla, the GWNs were sent to Queensland in 2019-2020 for One Rail's coal haulage. Magnetic Rail Group owns them now.
