The 11s are Walkers diesel-hydraulics from Maryborough, built for Tasmania's Emu Bay Railway to the same design as our DH class. The Emu Bay ordered five in 1968, which turned up in December 1969, and two more followed in March 1971. They ran in multiple, up to eight at a time with the 10 class, and went to the Australian Transport Network with the rest of the Emu Bay Railway in 1998.

Once vacuum-braked trains finished in Tasmania in March 2002 they were withdrawn and sold to Queensland, most of them to the Cairns company, where a pair have shunted the cement siding at Cairns. By 2019 six were in Cairns and 1104 was with Downer Rail at Maryborough. 1107 has since gone down to the Bellarine Railway in Victoria.
